The trouble with diets

Dieting very rarely works in the long term.  This is because on a ‘diet’ you usually think of food most of the time.  What you can and cannot eat, feeling deprived of many foods that you feel are ‘naughty to eat’.  This sacrifice only leads to failure because no-one likes being deprived of something they really like.  If you are told that you can’t have something then you usually want it all the more.

Hypnotherapy speaks to the powerful subconscious part of the mind which controls what and how much we eat.  We ask it to accept new, healthy, nutritious, enjoyable eating habits which will easily and automatically over-write the old eating habits which have caused us to be overweight.  This happens in an easy, effortless way and good eating habits quickly become a natural part of our lives.
